On-site safety leadership

A safety lead on your site for a day, a phase or the whole job.

Some jobs need someone for one high-risk day, like a big pick or a shutdown, and others need a safety lead from mobilization to closeout. We cover either one. The minimum is one day plus travel, and longer work runs on a contract.

What the safety lead does

  • Walks the work every day and sorts problems out with the foreman while the crew is still there
  • Reviews JHAs and pre-task plans before the work starts
  • Runs new-hire orientations and toolbox talks
  • Keeps the records your owner and GC will ask for
  • Backs up stop-work calls and handles the first steps after an incident

Who's on your site

A CHST leads the work. When it needs more than one person, we bring in safety professionals we've worked beside in the field, and we tell you who's coming before the first day.

Reports

Daily, weekly and monthly. The daily report covers what we saw and what got fixed. Weekly and monthly reports show the patterns, so the PM and the owner are looking at the same picture.
